Digging and Shoring, Accelerated Management
Starting in the fall of 2013, PipeWay Energy Construction, Inc. was tasked with helping to complete construction on Baltimore’s first casino in less than one year. The company was responsible for managing an environmental impact related to the digging and shoring below zero elevation near the Patapsco River, including the removal of any contaminated soil to approved facilities. Work included steam piping, storm drain, water and sanitary sewer service. The team was also responsible from coordinating work schedules with the Greyhound Bus Company to maintenance of traffic to keep the bus lines on their schedules without delays.
